1. Starbucks launches 'First Store Collection' NFT series on Polygon Chain, offering exclusive rewards (18th April)
Starbucks is launching a "First Store Collection" NFT series on the Polygon chain, featuring 5,000 NFTs at $100 each. The sale begins at 9 a.m. PT on April 19, with early access for users owning two Starbucks NFT stamps. Based on the original Seattle store, each NFT offers 1,500 points for rewards on the Starbucks Odyssey Web3 platform. Beta users can expect additional benefits starting April 24.
2. ‘Snow Crash’ author Stephenson launches Metaverse public blockchain Lamina1 (18th April)
Lamina1 is a PoS public chain based on Avalanche, founded by the renowned author of the sci-fi novel "Snow Crash," Stephenson. Lamina1 introduced the concept of a metaverse public chain for the first time.
3. LVMH embraces Web 3.0: NFTs for real products and luxury brands venture into Metaverse (20th April)
At LVMH's shareholders' meeting, Bernard Arnault highlighted the company's strategy to connect virtual products with physical goods in the Web 3.0 domain using NFTs. Customers can purchase real shoes and wine bottles with NFTs, with physical items stored until they decide to sell or consume them. Numerous LVMH luxury brands have already embraced Web 3.0, including Louis Vuitton's NFT game, Dior's metaverse experiences, Fendi's Web 3.0 accessories, Hennessy's NFT-based social club, and TAG Heuer's acceptance of cryptocurrency payments.

1. Nike unveils first virtual sneaker NFT series 'Our Force One ' on Web3 platform Swoosh (18th April)
Nike launches "Our Force 1 (OF1)" virtual sneaker NFT series on .Swoosh platform, with tokens airdropped starting April 18 and sales opening May 10. The project, led by Ron Faris, aims to expand NFT utility and offer exclusive experiences.
2. Prominent NFT OGs 'Franklin' and 'Machibigbrother' exit the NFT space, stirring uncertainty in the market (18th April)
Notable NFT traders "Franklin" and Huang Licheng ("Machibigbrother") exit the NFT space, impacting the market and adding uncertainty. Their departure prompts speculation and confusion, as Machibigbrother provided no specific reason for leaving.
3. In collaboration with Line Friends to create Beanz IP, Azuki's floor price rises against the trend (21st April)
In the past 7 days, Azuki's trading volume reached $10.37 million, ranking second to BAYC's $12.66 million, even surpassing it at times. The floor price of Azuki NFTs increased by 21% to 15.89 ETH (about $30,000). A partnership with Line Friends on April 12 created the Beanz NFT IP, boosting the floor price of Azuki and Beanz NFTs, gaining wider recognition and enhancing brand awareness.
4. Adidas launches Bored Ape Yacht Club and Punks Collaborative Apparel, ALTS by Adidas holders can purchase limited edition (21st April)
Adidas NFT project, Indigo Herz, announces the Indigo Herz Pack, providing token-gated access to ALTS by Adidas holders. The limited edition series features 2,145 collaborative Superstar shoes with Bored Ape Yacht Club, PUNKS Comic, and gmoneyNFT, and 2,195 hoodies showcasing PUNKS Comic art. AdiClub members receive early access on April 26th (EU) and 27th (other countries/regions), with a public release on May 5th via adidas.com, the adidas app, and select global retailers.
5. Blur NFT platform bug allows old bids to be accepted (21rd April)
A bug in the Blur NFT marketplace allowed old, canceled bids to be unexpectedly accepted, leading to unintended purchases. The platform disabled bid acceptance while investigating, prompting users to place large, unfillable bids to farm Blur points. Blur cofounder "Pacman" assured that any losses would be refunded once the issue is resolved.
6. Cool Cats founder announces a departure from Cool Cats project (22nd April)
Cool Cats founder @Lynqoid announced on Twitter his departure from the project and will no longer work for Cool Cats. Despite leaving, he will remain on the board, continuing to follow the project and provide advice and assistance when needed.
7. Former president Donald Trump launches his second series of NFT(18th April)
On April 18th, Bloomberg reported that former US President Trump announced the launch of his second personal NFT collection, "Trump Digital Trading Cards," on his social platform Truth Social. The NFT series, minted on the Polygon blockchain, will be sold for $99 each, with a total of 47,000 pieces issued and 46,000 pieces available for sale.
8. Moonbirds unveils new ‘$TALONS’ rewards initiative (17th April)
Moonbirds introduces $TALONs, a points-based rewards system addressing concerns, set to replace 'nesting.' Initiatives like "Diamond Exhibition" and "Mythic Eggs" aim to improve satisfaction, with $TALONs beta launch announced on April 17.
9. The Sandbox Partners with LaMelo Ball to Launch a new metaverse Meloverse (20th April)
The Sandbox partners with Playground Studios to launch 'Meloverse,' a virtual experience featuring NBA star LaMelo Ball, aiming to attract Gen Z fans to Web3 and the Metaverse by offering immersive interactions with the popular athlete.
