1. Roblox stock up after company reports strong booking, user engagement growth (May 10)
Roblox shares rose by 6% after reporting its first-quarter results. While the company had a slightly higher loss per share than expected, its revenue (bookings) of $774 million exceeded expectations. Roblox experienced significant growth in daily active users (66 million) and engagement hours (14.5 billion), particularly in international and older user segments. CEO David Baszucki attributed the company's success to continuous innovation. Roblox reported a net loss of $268 million for the quarter but expressed confidence in its current headcount and compensation levels due to strong bookings growth.
2. Elon Musk's Meme Sparks Frenzy in NFT Space (May 10)

Elon Musk's tweet featuring a meme created with Milady NFT imagery caused a surge in interest and prices for the Milady NFT collection. Yuga Labs, the creator of popular NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club, suffered a major setback when its CEO’s Twitter account got hacked. The Yuga Labs team is working to regain control, but some users have already reported losing their NFTs and funds.

3. Meta Unveils ImageBind: Open-Source Multisensory AI Model (May11) #AIGC

4. Binance NFT Marketplace Adds Bitcoin Ordinals (May 8) #NFT
Binance is integrating Bitcoin Ordinals into its NFT marketplace, enabling direct trading without separate wallets. The move recognizes Bitcoin's importance in the crypto industry. Inscription marketplaces like Ordswap and Ordinals Market have emerged, and even Solana NFT marketplace Magic Eden has joined the trend.
5. Yuga Labs’ New CEO Splurges $90K on Bored Ape NFT (May 12) #NFT
Using his own money to purchase digital art from his own company, the CEO of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Daniel Alegre, acquired Bored Ape #3575 for $90,000 (50 ETH), despite the base price for this Ape being around $78,000 (44 ETH), according to CoinGecko.

In a sudden announcement May 12, Andy Chorlian, Co-Founder and CEO at the Fractional Token Company, revealed that Web3 platforms Tessera and Escher would begin slowly winding down operations in the near future.
